Job description

The IT Specialist shall implement, support, and maintain web service user and data connections, as well as SFTP connections. Additionally, the IT Specialist shall develop and utilize various ETL products and other automated data integration tools. The IT Specialist shall support and assist both internal and external customers in identifying, authenticating, and authorizing individuals or groups for access to applications, systems, or networks by managing user rights and restrictions. Furthermore, the IT Specialist shall control and administer digital user identities and the associated rights to perform actions on specified resources, utilizing privilege and identity management concepts.

Requirements

Security-cleared Professional: An active Top Secret (TS) Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Education and Experience: You have a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience in development with the following:

  • Expertise in configuration and versioning software management tools, particularly Apache Subversion.
  • Experience with virtual machines (VM) and virtual desktop infrastructures (VDI), as well as software development skills in languages such as Java, Python, and C#.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, specifically FedRAMP-compliant AWS and Azure Cloud.
  • Adept at developing and troubleshooting software tools and utilities, including Python and PHP, and have experience in configuring and maintaining computer systems across Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms.
  • Creating and maintaining databases such as PostgreSQL, Linux SQL, SQLite, and Oracle.
  • Configuring and implementing thin client executable code that utilizes SFTP to send XML files, as well as the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security certificates and encryption to troubleshoot production issues and deploy applications using WSDLs, Web Application Description Language (WADL), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), JKS, and APIs.
  • Proficiency in XML, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), and APIs that support HTTP/HTTPS protocols, RESTful, and SOAP for web services are required.
  • Experience with Single Sign-On/Access Management or Federated Identity Manager products, as well as various Identity and Access Management solutions for managing user identities, provisioning and deprovisioning users, authenticating and authorizing users, and reporting tasks, is essential.
  • Knowledge in federation technologies, including SAML, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Expertise in encryption processes, including key generation, establishing and testing connections, troubleshooting connections, and folder creation using tools such as PuTTYgen, Windows Secure Copy, and Open Secure Shell Keys, is necessary, along with the ability to create, maintain, and troubleshoot data SFTP connections.
