Senior Data Engineer

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.

As a Data Management Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensure high-quality access to data sources by validating, cleaning, and standardizing data for seamless use by analysts and scientists.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from diverse sources (Big Data, IoT, etc.) while defining and enforcing data policies and lifecycle compliance.
• Capture, map, and structure data to create a standardized repository, ensuring proper referencing and documentation.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Airflow and AWS to automate ingestion, processing, and transformation.
• Build scalable BI solutions with Dataiku, AWS, and Power BI, and create dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
• Train and mentor teams on Power BI and data analytics best practices, fostering adaptability in dynamic environments.

• 3+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, or related fields, with a focus on data quality, integration, and governance.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Airflow, with hands-on experience in AWS, Dataiku, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills, including P&L analysis, and ability to solve complex problems in fast-changing environments.
• Excellent English (advanced level) and adaptability for occasional travel (Brussels/Paris).
• Passion for data-driven decision-making, visualization, and mentoring teams on best practices.
