GENERAL SUMMARYThe primary responsibility of the Lead SAP Analyst (VC, PP, PS) is to own the architecture of mission-critical manufacturing processes. You would be a high calibre SAP specialist serving as the global subject matter expert for our Variant Configuration (VC), Production Planning (PP), and Project Systems (PS) landscape. Extensive experience in Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW) is expected, functional knowledge of other related modules such as Quality Management (QM), Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) would be highly beneficial. In this strategic role, you won't just support a system-you will shape the digital backbone of a global leader in power, oil & gas, and industrial engineering. You will lead business process re-engineering, drive M&A integration, and mentor a world-class team of innovators.
Key Strategic ImpactProcess Architecture & Ownership: Act as the ultimate owner for the SAP VC, PP, and PS modules, ensuring seamless integration across global business units.Strategic Project Leadership: Lead high-priority business systems integration projects and contribute to M&A strategy from an ERP perspective.Digital Transformation: Facilitate BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) workshops to eliminate legacy inefficiencies and implement best-in-class manufacturing workflows.Executive Advisory: Partner with senior leadership to provide technical expertise that drives global decision-making.
Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesOwner of SAP VC, PP, PS and supporting SAP functionalityAnalysis and documentation of current systems (processes, functions, methods and practices)Documentation of SAP ERP processes using prescribed systems analysis methodologiesConfiguration of one or more modules of SAP to meet documented user requirementsTesting of configured SAP SystemSpecification of reports, interfaces and special programsEducation of key/end users in system operationInstallation support after system go-liveResolve implementation issues to obtain system "sign off" from managementResolve business issues and user problemsProgress resolution of SAP VC, PP, PS and other SAP issues as assignedLiaise with users to ensure full understanding and proper documentation of business requirements and communication of solutionsRecord progress within Celeros' help desk systemsProvide business systems expertise to senior managementProvide support to Production Planning, Scheduling and Variant Configuration with its integration to external systems, while identify opportunities for business improvementDetermination of best practice processes for business units utilizing SAPOrganise, participate in and facilitate business process re-engineering workshopsImplementation of new processes and education of business userSupport executive decision-making process by providing SAP expertise.Contribute to Business Systems projects as Lead or Team PlayerPartner with business leaders in support of high priority projects and initiativesProject Management responsibility as assigned and when applicableLead business process and business systems integration projects within specified process areasProduce functional and technical specifications to support development of interfaces and integration of SAP and other Celeros FT business systemsProvide SAP expertise to Program and Project ManagementAssign and manage SAP resources assigned to specific projects
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energyExperienced configurator for SAP VC, PP, PS modulesAt least four full cycle SAP implementations as VC, PP, PS Specialist with Manufacturing industryExperience communicating with global business users and other functional stakeholders regarding business operations and process improvement initiativesDemonstrated strong written and oral communication skillsExperience collaborating with multi-person virtual teamsSelf-directed, detail-oriented, have excellent initiative and possess strong analytical skillsStrong personal motivation, excellent work ethic and positive, team-oriented mindset
Mandatory Education and ExperienceEngineering or Masters degree in IT or computer Science from recognised university10+ years specifying, configuring, deploying and supporting SAP VC, PP, PS and integrated functionality from other SAP modulesDeep functional and technical understanding with demonstratable working knowledge of SAP ECC and 4.6Experienced in global manufacturing and MTO/CTO/ETO environmentsSAP VC, PP, PS consultant certification and/or certification in other mainstream SAP ERP modulesProficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and MS SharePoint
