Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a .NET Programmer Analyst in Saint Louis, MO. Summary: We are seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst III to help design, support, and enhance critical business applications and technology solutions. This role partners with business stakeholders, operations teams, and IT staff to improve system performance, streamline processes, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver new technology capabilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business and technical requirements
  • Support, maintain, and enhance existing applications and systems
  • Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions and system improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and database issues
  • Create technical documentation, system specifications, and process diagrams
  • Provide end-user training and support for new and existing systems
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders on projects and initiatives
  • Mentor team members and serve as a senior technical resource

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of professional application development and systems support experience
  • Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and the .NET ecosystem; Microsoft Visual Studio; Oracle databases and PL/SQL; Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL; Web services, APIs, SOAP, WCF, XML, and LINQ
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with modern .NET versions and Entity Framework
  • Experience with WordPress or other content management systems
  • Exposure to workforce management, scheduling, or transit-related software platforms
  • Familiarity with GitHub or other source control tools

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, hybrid work arrangement
  • Occasional local travel may be required based on project needs

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
