Support Project Managers on compliance, environmental , and engineering projects, including field investigations for large and complex sites

Collect, preserve, and accurately record groundwater, soil, and air samples based on established protocols; coordinate field efforts with clients, contractors, and staff

Perform data management, spatial analysis, and develop mapping deliverables using GIS software
-
Manage GPS data collection for field projects

Prepare figures, tables, and technical reports, ensuring QA/QC standards and data accuracy

Interact with clients, contractors, vendors, and regulators in the field and office

Attend technical seminars
Requirements
PWGC is seeking a motivated Staff GIS Analyst to support compliance, environmental, and engineering projects. The successful candidate will have field and office experience with field sampling, technical reporting, and GIS., + Bachelors degree in Geology, Environmental Science/Studies, Geography, or related field

Minimum one year relevant post-graduation work experience

Demonstrated knowledge of sampling, groundwater monitoring, and GIS applications and office experience with permitting, data analysis, and environmental reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Travel may be required, including overnights

Will need to be available for projects that require long days (10 to 12+ hours) and occasional weekend work

Access to reliable transportation, valid driver's license, clean driving record
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry equipment and samples, which may weigh up to 25 pounds.

Ability to swim.

Capability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.

Stamina to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods while collecting samples.

Dexterity to handle small tools and equipment with precision.

Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as long sleeves, hard hat, gloves, masks, safety toe boots, and safety glasses.
