Job description
Develop and execute software test plans to identify software problems (using different tools/clients/frameworks) and interpreting the results. Conduct system modifications testing for implementation phase. Maintain existing test suites; modify tests in response to changes in the systems under test, expand tests in response to coverage gaps, etc. Develop new test plans and manual(exploratory) and automated test cases to include gaining sufficiently deep understanding of the systems being tested, through reading existing requirements and determining requirements where they have not yet been explicitly recorded. Conduct peer reviews for establishing test plans. Perform debugging, testing and refactoring of existing enterprise applications. Document defects and track software and system bugs. Report defects to development team and coordinate for debugging process. Test system-monitoring tools, participate in the team's shared responsibility to use those system-monitoring tools, and
Requirements
contribute to the development of those tools as possible. Automate test catalogs for automotive infotainment systems products/functions as well as design and implement new tools for improving the team's efficiency. Experience must include utilizing: C, C++, Java, Kotlin, PyTest, Andriod Studio, UI Automation2, Appium, Raspberry Pi, CAN, JIRA, Confluence.
Minimum Requirements: Masters or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (Any), or related with 6 months of relevant IT experience in job offered or as a Computer / Engineering Professional or related. Any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable. Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S. Job locations in Morristown, NJ & may involve relocation to various unanticipated client sites across the U.S.
