Job description
This position focuses on the development of embedded software and system architecture for highly engineered electromechanical products. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams developing software that controls motors, sensors, valves, actuators, power electronics, and electronic control systems used in demanding real-world applications., This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced embedded software engineer looking to take ownership of software architecture, requirements development, system integration, and validation while collaborating with global engineering teams., This is not a PLC programming, MES, ERP, web development, or IT software role. The ideal candidate has experience writing embedded software that directly controls hardware and electromechanical systems.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline. \n

5+ years of embedded software or embedded systems development experience. \n

Experience with software requirements, architecture, design, integration, or verification. \n

Experience with requirements management tools. \n

Familiarity with Polarion, Jira, Bitbucket, or similar development platforms. \n

Experience developing software test plans and validation strategies. \n

Understanding of software development lifecycle and configuration management. \n

Experience working closely with hardware engineering teams. \n

Knowledge of hardware/software interfaces. \n

Experience with SIL and HIL testing. \n

Familiarity with functional safety principles, risk assessments, or FMEA. \n

Basic knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or model-based development. \n

Understanding of motors, sensors, actuators, power electronics, or embedded control systems. \n

7+ years of embedded software development experience. \n
