Senior System Admin

• Administer and support enterprise infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments
• Manage Windows/Linux servers, VMware, Active Directory, networking, and storage
• Support AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services and hybrid infrastructure initiatives
• Maintain security, firewall configurations, patching, and system reliability
• Automate infrastructure processes through scripting and Infrastructure as Code
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects
• Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver infrastructure solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Infrastructure Administrator to manage, maintain, and modernize our enterprise infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in traditional systems administration, including servers, virtualization, networking, storage, Active Directory, and firewall management, while also demonstrating hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or equivalent cloud technologies.

This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure supporting critical business operations. The successful candidate will have experience designing, implementing, and supporting hybrid infrastructure solutions that integrate on-premises systems with cloud services. Strong expertise in VMware, infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), vendor management, and project delivery is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills who can effectively support operational requirements while driving infrastructure modernization initiatives., Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Administration, or Network Administration
• Strong experience supporting enterprise Windows/Linux servers
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, networking, and storage
• Hands-on experience with VMware
• Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with firewall administration (Palo Alto or SonicWall preferred)
• Scripting/automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure project experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
• Enterprise storage platforms (Isilon, VxRail, Data Domain, Avamar, etc.)
• Docker/Kubernetes
• Cloud or VMware certifications
