Job description

An international HR technology consulting team is seeking an experienced Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant to support global Workday transformation and optimisation programmes. The role focuses on the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Time Tracking and Absence solutions, helping organisations streamline workforce scheduling, time capture, leave management, and compliance processes.

You will work closely with HR, Payroll, and Operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations and support successful project delivery across multiple regions., * Lead the configuration and optimisation of Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules.

  • Gather business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
  • Design and implement time and leave processes aligned with operational and payroll needs.
  • Configure time entry, scheduling, accruals, leave plans, eligibility rules, and approval workflows.
  • Support testing activities including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Assist with data migration, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with integration, payroll, and change management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience implementing or supporting Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence.
  • Hands-on configuration experience across Time Tracking, Absence, leave plans, accruals, and related business processes.
  • Strong understanding of HR and payroll-related time and attendance processes.
  • Experience working in international or multi-country Workday environments is advantageous.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and client-facing teams.
  • Workday certification in Time Tracking and/or Absence is preferred, or a willingness to obtain certification.
