Job description

The Project Manager role is DCM's primary functional authority and consultant throughout the design and development phases of online store projects. You'll champion the team's publishing process with cross-functional partners, oversee detailed planning of launch assets and deliverables, and drive execution - managing change, mitigating risk, keeping leadership informed on project status, and identifying opportunities to bring automation and emerging technologies into everyday workflows. Collaborating closely with DCM internal teams and partner teams, this role drives successful project launches - delivered on time and with excellence., * Oversee delivery of creative assets and sources of truth to DCM, communicating DCM requirements and collaborating with partners from Marcom, Engineering, and Apple Store Online business teams to ensure seamless execution

  • Manage end-to-end project planning and execution - including resourcing, milestones, priorities, and change management - across complex, cross-functional work streams from launch to takedown, ensuring on-time delivery aligned to business plans while maintaining brand consistency and a strong focus on the customer experience
  • Partner and negotiate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define priorities, plan and align schedules, and collaborate to achieve solution-oriented decision-making
  • Proactively identify risks and dependencies, taking decisive action to mitigate potential issues and manage partner and leadership communications effectively
  • Support post-release analysis to identify wins and challenges. Carry findings forward to continually improve future project deliveries and execution
  • Be an internal evangelist for effective and sustainable process solutions, including automation and AI-assisted workflows

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience leading projects and hands-on experience working in large-scale global content and product catalog management systems
  • Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams (marketing, design, technical, localization, quality assurance)
  • Experience managing multiple projects, resources, schedules, and competing priorities concurrently across high-profile work streams
  • Fluency in English, * Possesses strong communication, interpersonal, planning, execution, and presentation skills. Able to distill and articulate effectively to different audiences, and advocate for the customer experience.
  • Delivers results against tight deadlines and is comfortable defining new processes to support evolving work streams.
  • Optimizes how the team works for efficiency, and has the ability to adapt to meet changes with production and business needs.
  • Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail. Identifies critical path and dependencies to drive projects forward and ensure quality execution
  • Proficient in project management tools
  • Understanding of web technology tools such as PHP, HTML, Photoshop, and varying digital asset types
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data concepts and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage difficult decisions and conflicting points of view
  • Technical fluency and hands-on experience using AI tools to build or manage project workflows
  • BA/BS degree in business, project management, or equivalent experience
