Job description
To support the operational management of the Gastroenterology Directorate, being able to work on a reactive basis to the needs of the Directorate. This involves providing line management responsibility to a designated group of staff, managing waiting lists and managing day-to-day operational issues as they arise. Main duties of the job The post holder priorities his/her own workload, including long-term tasks in support of the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Service. Required to work without immediate referral to the Operational Manager, expected to use own initiative and to problem solve.
