Job description

The Project Engineer will be involved with the planning, coordination, and execution of concrete-related aspects of construction projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery of concrete work while adhering to budget constraints. The following are general responsibilities for the position, * Engineer and design concrete formwork

  • Perform design calculations
  • Develop formwork fabrication drawings
  • Produce concrete outline drawings
  • Assist in quality control/assurance of installed work during construction
  • Lead projects from planning to execution and closeout
  • Create and manage RFIs, submittals, and drawing changes
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to inspect installed work
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proactive planning and organizational skills
  • Professional appearance with good interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • Experience with creating concrete shop drawings using Revit
  • Experience with reading construction drawings
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project
  • Ability to work well with others and assimilate in a team environment
  • Experienced with successfully training/mentoring
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • FE / EI certification with the ability to obtain PE within 3 years
  • Ability to speak Spanish would be a bonus, but is not required
  • 0 to 6 years of applicable experience related to concrete construction industry
