Unix/Linux Administrator

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Key Responsibilities Three (3) years of professional experience in UNIX and/or Linux System Administration of networks and software systems. Experience in system backup and recovery; basic software management; security management and library management; installation and configuration of hardware; operational systems and COTS software; operating computer systems in different operating environments; and sizing, performance, tuning, hardware/software/network troubleshooting and resource allocation. Experience in different network protocols including TCP/IP and major network security tools. This position is required to be designated as IAT II level with a Top Secret. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Unix/Linux Systems Administration of networks and software systems.

• Experience in system backup and recovery; basic software management; security management and library management

• Experience with installation and configuration of hardware; operational systems and COTS software; operating computer systems in different operating environments.

• Experience with sizing, performance, tuning, hardware/software/network troubleshooting and resource allocation.

• Clearance: Must possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance.

• Work location: Onsite in Dahlgren, VA, Monday - Friday, 8am -4.30pm

Final salary is influenced by factors such as location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
