n The Payroll Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for leveraging advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to enhance payroll operations, improve data accuracy, and drive strategic decision-making. This role transforms payroll data into actionable insights and builds predictive solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and workforce transparency.\n \n This position partners across Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT to develop scalable analytics and automation solutions that elevate payroll from a transactional function to a data-driven business capability\n \n \nKey Responsibilities:\n \n \nData Analysis & Insights\n \u2022 Analyze large-scale payroll datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities\n \u2022 Develop dashboards and visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders\n \u2022 Perform exploratory data analysis to support workforce, cost, and compliance decision\n \u2022 Build predictive models (e.g., forecasting, classification, clustering) to improve payroll decision-making\n \u2022 Design and test statistical and machine learning models using structured and unstructured data\n \u2022 Ensure ongoing model performance, accuracy, and relevance over time\n \u2022 Identify, extract, cleanse, and integrate data from payroll and enterprise systems\n \u2022 Develop data pipelines and transformation processes to support analytics and modeling\n \u2022 Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across payroll datasets\n \u2022 Develop analytical and automation solutions using SQL, Python, R, or similar tools\n \u2022 Build reusable data assets, scripts, and models to support ongoing analytics needs\n \u2022 Automate reporting and data workflows to reduce manual effort\n \n, u2022 Successful candidate must complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, and criminal history), and complete a drug screening.\n \n \nPhysical Requirements:\n \n The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
