Job description

Worldband is seeking a motivated Cloud Support Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This position supports the deployment and implementation of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments for businesses, municipalities, and public safety organizations.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid IT foundation who wants to build a career in cloud engineering. You'll work alongside senior engineers to deploy Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, Microsoft 365 solutions, Windows Server infrastructure, and Azure cloud services.

This is primarily a project-focused position with opportunities to learn and grow into larger Azure implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Azure infrastructure deployments
  • Support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) host pool implementations
  • Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services
  • Assist with Microsoft Entra ID and Intune deployments
  • Deploy Windows Server virtual machines in Azure
  • Assist with server and Microsoft 365 migrations
  • Configure user accounts, permissions, and security policies
  • Support networking tasks including VPNs, DNS, and virtual networks
  • Create technical documentation
  • Work closely with senior engineers on client implementations
  • Troubleshoot cloud and Microsoft 365 issues during deployments

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of IT experience
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Nice to Have

  • Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, or working toward one)
  • Microsoft 365 administration experience
  • Microsoft Entra ID
  • Intune
  • PowerShell
  • Azure Virtual Desktop exposure
  • VMware or Hyper-V experience
