Job description
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze data from multiple platforms, databases, applications, and cloud environments
- Support reporting, dashboards, data extracts, and recurring analytical deliverables
- Translate customer data needs into clear reports, queries, metrics, and visual outputs
- Identify trends, gaps, inconsistencies, anomalies, and quality issues in operational datasets
- Support decision-support tools by ensuring data is accurate, usable, and aligned with customer needs
- Prepare data summaries, findings, status updates, and client-facing analytical materials
- Data Management Across Platforms
- Help manage data across cloud platforms, databases, dashboards, APIs, and internal systems
- Support data profiling, data mapping, data validation, data transformation, and data cleanup activities
- Work with technical teams to understand data sources, data flows, system interfaces, and reporting dependencies
- Maintain data dictionaries, field definitions, metadata, data documentation, and workflow notes
- Support data governance, data quality, data lineage, and data stewardship activities where required
- Help improve consistency, traceability, and reliability of data across platforms
- Customer Requirements & Data Discovery
- Work with Government customers and mission users to understand operational workflows, reporting needs, pain points, and desired outcomes
- Support stakeholder interviews, requirements discussions, and data discovery sessions
- Translate ambiguous data questions into clear requirements, metrics, queries, dashboards, or analytical outputs
- Document business requirements, data requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and workflow diagrams
- Ensure data requirements are clear, testable, traceable, and aligned with mission objectives
- Cloud, Systems & Data Workflow Support
- Support cloud-based data workflows, analytics platforms, dashboards, APIs, and decision-support applications
- Assist with testing and validation of data pipelines, reporting outputs, integrations, and delivered capabilities
- Partner with software engineers, data engineers, systems engineers, product managers, and QA teams to resolve data issues
- Track data issues from discovery through resolution
- Support release validation, user acceptance testing, and customer acceptance for data-driven features
- Help identify data dependencies, quality risks, access issues, and integration gaps
- Documentation & Communication
- Prepare clear documentation for datasets, reports, dashboards, workflows, and analytical processes
- Communicate data findings, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support client-facing briefings, product demonstrations, requirements reviews, and data walkthroughs
- Contribute to technical assessments, solution documentation, training materials, and customer support content
- Help improve internal processes for data documentation, reporting discipline, and requirements traceability, Success in this role means helping customers and technical teams turn complex mission data into accurate, usable, and trusted information.

Requirements
Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizen required
Security Clearance: Active DoD clearance strongly preferred. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. DoD security clearance within the first year of employment., The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working with structured and semi-structured data, comfort with cloud-based data environments, and the ability to translate customer questions into clear data outputs, dashboards, reports, and decision-support products., * U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. DoD security clearance within the first year of employment
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, data management, reporting, analytics, systems analysis, or technical consulting
- Experience working with data across multiple systems, databases, applications, or cloud platforms
- Strong experience with SQL, data profiling, data validation, reporting, or dashboard support
- Ability to gather, document, and manage customer data requirements
- Strong understanding of data quality, data mapping, data transformation, databases, APIs, and reporting workflows
- Ability to translate customer needs into clear data requirements, analytical outputs, dashboards, reports, or documentation
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, stakeholders, requirements, and deliverables
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in Lincoln, MA and support work at Hanscom Air Force Base
Preferred Experience
- Active DoD clearance
- Experience working on Government, defense, aerospace, national security, systems engineering, or mission-focused technology programs
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GovCloud, or secure cloud environments
- Experience supporting data platforms, analytics applications, dashboards, APIs, or decision-support tools
- Experience with BI or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Grafana, or similar tools
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, XML, XSD, JSON, or data exchange formats
- Experience with ETL/ELT workflows, data pipelines, data modeling, or database query development
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Miro, Visio, Lucidchart, ERD tools, or data modeling platforms
- Experience with requirements traceability, user acceptance testing, verification and validation, or release readiness
Additional Beneficial Experience
- Experience with data governance, metadata management, master data management, data cataloging, data lineage, or data stewardship
- Experience supporting AI-enabled applications, machine learning workflows, automation tools, knowledge management systems, or advanced analytics platforms
- Familiarity with MBSE, digital engineering, systems architecture, SysML, UML, or architecture modeling concepts
- Experience preparing data dictionaries, interface control documentation, product documentation, implementation guides, technical reports, or training materials
