UI/UX Designer

Duties

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into compelling UI/UX solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, and Zeplin to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform iterative design improvements.
• Develop responsive web designs optimized for various devices including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and responsive web design best practices.
• Design engaging data visualizations and interactive elements that enhance user understanding of complex information.
• Apply accessibility standards in interaction design to ensure inclusive experiences across all user groups.
• Lead UX prototyping efforts with rapid iteration cycles using tools like Axure or Balsamiq to validate concepts before development.
• Work within Agile frameworks, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and product development cycles to ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.
• Maintain consistency across platforms by adhering to established design patterns, information architecture principles, and style guides.
• Support front-end development teams by providing detailed specifications for HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.

• Proven experience in UI/UX design for web applications and mobile applications with a strong portfolio demonstrating human-centered design solutions.
• Hands-on experience with front-end development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes and working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong skills in data visualization tools and techniques to create compelling visual stories from complex data sets.
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Balsamiq, and InVision for prototyping and visual design tasks.
• Knowledge of UX research methods including user interviews, surveys (e.g., Qualtrics), A/B testing (e.g., Adobe Target), and analytics platforms like Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions.
• Experience designing for e-commerce platforms with a focus on usability, layout design, information architecture, and accessibility standards such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Ability to analyze user behavior through data analysis skills using SQL or web analytics tools to optimize user flows and overall experience.
• Strong collaboration skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments utilizing tools like Jira or Trello for project management.
