Hardware Test & Quality Engineer

• 1 to 5 years of experience in test engineering, manufacturing validation, or a quality lab environment
• 50/50 split between hands-on hardware troubleshooting and building formal engineering documentation, then helping automate the process
• Strong technical writing skills to author clear, concise engineering documentation, test protocols, and SOPs
• Familiarity with standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electronic loads
• Basic communication protocol familiarity, such as RS-232 and Modbus
• Solid understanding of basic component-level troubleshooting (e.g., identifying issues with board-level components or circuit logic)
• Build and maintain automated test fixtures and support test execution for power supplies, NIDs, and battery backups
• Develop and maintain QC processes, calibration and measurement systems, and automated data-logging workflows using tools like Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint
