Senior Consultant/Lead Developer

Join our team as a Senior Consultant Lead Developer and embark on an exciting journey where you will advise and implement technical solutions for our esteemed customers across The Netherlands and the rest of EMEA. As a key player in our organization, your primary focus will be to guide our customers and partners in seamlessly integrating the Mendix App Platform into their enterprise landscape and processes. Collaborating closely with enterprise and application architects, as well as customer/partner teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the adoption of the Mendix platform. This dynamic role offers the unique advantage of engaging with multiple projects and diverse customers, providing a rich and varied experience compared to traditional long-term client placements.

We are searching for enthusiastic and innovative individuals with a proven track record in IT development and shown experience in customer-facing roles such as architect, consultant, or engineer. As we work on projects using the SCRUM/Agile methodology, your familiarity with this approach will be highly valued.

You'll Help Our Customers And The Team Drive Digital Innovation By:

• Becoming a Mendix guide, driving innovation through Mendix technology implementations

• Guide our customers in a changing world to create a Human-AI workforce

• Being hands-on and playing an intrinsic part in the development process using the Mendix platform, from project planning and development through to ensuring successful customer adoption

• Supporting and empowering customers and partners, enabling them to become self-sufficient with the Mendix platform

• Training customers and partners, elevating their skills to the next level

• Championing the values and principles of Scrum/Agile-led implementations with Mendix among our clients

• Collaborating directly with our R&D team to continuously enhance the Mendix Platform, ensuring it delivers cutting-edge solutions for our customers

• Actively contributing to and collaborating within our EMEA-wide Communities of Practice, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster collective growth

• Proven experience in Software Development projects (5+ years)

• (Preferably) at least 3 years hands-on experience with the Mendix platform, including an Advanced certification

• Experience with or basic understanding of at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, SQL

• Passion for cloud-native and mobile technologies like Responsive, PWA, or Native

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and driven to find sophisticated solutions to complex problems

• Proven leadership and project delivery skills, either as a software project lead or within an organization focused on software development

• Engaging and professional demeanour, motivated to work with customers and drive innovation within their organizations

• Hands-on experience with common CI/CD tooling, such as GIT/SVN, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps

• Fluent in both English and Dutch, additional language-skills are an advantage

• Willingness to travel within the EMEA Region to client sites

Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is EUR 76,600 - 145,700 with 20% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement).. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
