Job description
Responsible for providing administrative support in all areas of the Bank's Human Resource department. Assists Human Resource's team in administering policies, procedures and tasks related to Human Resources. Backup for HRIS Manager. Responsible for various HR tasks as assigned., Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of the following functions:
- Organize, streamline, and oversee the onboarding process timely and accurately.
- Confirms accuracy and integrity of all data entered, maintains data in HRIS systems and assures information is available on a timely basis
- Process and maintain periodic reports of employee record data to other departments and to governmental organizations as required.
- Partners with the Recruiting team to ensure effective workflow of procedures.
- Effectively communicates human resource policies as appropriate.
- Completes verification of employment and other employment related requests.
- Runs reports as needed for managers, associates, or HR related tasks.
- Supports HR staff and assists with HR projects.
- Scanning/filing HR related documents.
- Maintains and update HR content on the Portal.
- Assist in maintenance, troubleshooting and design of compensation and performance events
- Performs group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and research/reports on any data discrepancies.
- Manage the monthly vacation changes.
- Delivers routine audit and requested reports.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Company personnel and management.
- Assists and support personnel as needed.
- Ensures that management is appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems in a timely manner or as they occur.
- Completes related reports and metrics in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned., Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery. Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
Requirements
Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent. Required Knowledge: Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations. Experience Required: Three + years of successful administrative experience. Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communications abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION Finger Dexterity: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together. Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly. Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information., Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables. Mathematics Ability: Ability to perform basic math skills, use decimals to compute ratios and percents. Language Ability: Ability to read a variety of books, magazines, and instruction manuals. Ability to prepare memos, reports, and essays using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
Ability to communicate distinctly with appropriate pauses and emphasis, correct pronunciation (or sign equivalent), and variation in word order using present, perfect, and future tenses. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 40 hours
