Job description
An opportunity for a MuleSoft and API Developer in the PSL IM Integration Platforms has arisen within Airbus Helicopters (Albacete, Spain). In this role, you will design, build, and maintain the APIs and integration flows that connect our enterprise applications, databases, and third-party systems. You will ensure all developments align with our guidelines and supervise their deployment to our shared MuleSoft API gateway., The Integration Platform Team designs, builds, and monitors secure API and middleware connections to synchronize data, automate workflows, and link disparate legacy and cloud systems. The integration patterns defined by our architect are selected to meet the applications' use cases and are updated regularly to support new requirements. Synchronous REST APIs are one of the tools used to implement these patterns., Assist in designing, developing, and testing APIs and integration workflows using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4). Use RAML or OAS (OpenAPI Specification) to define API specifications and build reusable assets. Write data transformation logic using DataWeave 2.0 to map data between disparate systems. Write unit tests using MUnit and assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving integration issues. Maintain clear, accurate technical documentation for APIs, integration flows, and deployment processes., Since this position is managed transnationally, please submit your documents (CV and/or cover letter) in English.

Requirements

- Education: Master's degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field.
- Foundational Programming: Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Integration Basics: Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services, JSON, and XML data formats.
- Databases: Basic knowledge of SQL and interacting with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git). Understanding of agile methodologies.
- Curiosity: A strong desire to learn new technologies and integration patterns.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot code and logic flow.
- Communication: Good English communication skills.
