Job description
We are looking for a hands-on, autonomous IT Manager to take full ownership of local IT operations for our client. In this broad, impactful role, you'll manage daily infrastructure, bridge IT and OT environments, and coordinate with external partners., * IT Operations: Oversee system performance, security, backups, M365, user administration, and network topology.
- Vendor & Project Leadership: Manage external IT providers, service SLAs, and live hardware refreshes.
- Governance: Partner with the local CFO on site budgets and align with global Group IT strategies.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years in IT administration, system engineering, or IT management.
- Technical Knowledge: Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, Hyper-V/VMware, firewalls, LAN/WAN/VPN networking, and backups.
- Key Skills: Self-motivated, strong problem-solver, comfortable acting as the sole local IT resource, and willing to travel between sites.
- Bonus: Experience with OT environments (PLC, MES, SCADA).
