This individual will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a mixed Windows, Linux, Azure, and VMware environment while serving as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure and end-user issues. The organization has experienced significant growth over the past five years and is undergoing several strategic technology initiatives, including an enterprise ERP migration to Deltek Costpoint, continued migration of services to Azure, SharePoint improvements, compliance-driven security enhancements, and the buildout of a new facility. The Systems Administrator will support approximately 100+ users and 15+ servers in a highly regulated manufacturing and government contracting environment. Responsibilities include systems administration, infrastructure support, cloud technologies, security compliance, Azure administration, virtualization, documentation, troubleshooting, and engineering systems support, including Windchill PLM. This position also offers a unique opportunity for someone interested in future leadership growth. Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Systems Administration experience with strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments. Candidates should possess hands-on experience administering Linux systems, managing VMware virtualization platforms, and utilizing PowerShell or other scripting tools to automate processes and improve operational efficiency. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and end-user support skills are essential, as this individual will serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues. Experience supporting organizations within regulated industries such as government contracting, manufacturing, aerospace, or defense is highly preferred. Additionally, familiarity with compliance frameworks including NIST 800-171 and CMMC is strongly desired. U.S. Citizenship is required, and candidates who can obtain a security clearance will be given preference.
