The Enterprise Performance Management - Business Intelligence (EPM/BI) group at GDIT is looking for a candidate to join its growing Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing team. This is an Oracle Database and PL/SQL development and design position. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining Oracle Data Warehouses and Business Intelligence application platforms as well as provide leadership for IT best practices/methods and approach.

Design and code PL/SQL procedures

Actively Participate in the development and learning of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications

Actively participate with the business users in understanding requirements and execution of projects

Clearly communicate commitments, issues, completion dates and status with key stakeholders and management

Play a key role in data modeling and database design
Maintain availability during core business hours while supporting flexible operational requirements that may include extended daily hours, rotational coverage, weekend monitoring, and occasional deployment support based on mission needs
Design and build applications following industry standards and best practices

Experience:
8 + years of related experience, Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Oracle Database Developer must have:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or related degrees and 4+ years experience or in lieu of a degree 8+ years experience

Required Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience using Oracle PL/SQL

Required Technical Skills: Oracle PL/SQL; Strong knowledge of RDBMS design; Familiar with Data Warehouse and BI concepts

Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Ability to work closely with team members and customers

Preferred Skills: Working experience with ETL tools; OAS platform reporting; LINUX/UNIX shell scripting, data visualization, JIRA, JAVA; JavaScript; Project Management
Benefits & conditions
The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
