Job description
The IT Systems Analyst will provide technical guidance, professional service support, and solutions to end-users in the utilization of hardware/equipment, information systems and applications. The IT Systems Analyst will maintain current systems (including monitoring network performance, identifying requirements, keeping updated on latest tools and processes, and installing upgrades), troubleshoot/resolve end-users' technical issues, and analyze/advise on current and future IT system needs. This position will be based in our Millville, New Jersey warehouse and will report directly to the Chief Information Officer., · Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware/equipment (including routers, switches, and UPSs), software, and peripheral devices (including mobile devices/phones, desktops/laptops, hand-held scanners, Multi-Functional Printers, scanners, and label printers).
· Respond to and handle IT service support calls/emails in a timely manner.
· Assist and escalate (including initiation of service calls) for advanced repairs.
· Track technical issues to resolution and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders.
· Provide remote support for branch locations with occasional travel for break/fix.
· Perform regular maintenance and updates on servers and physical hosts.
· Maintain network by administering network monitoring and analysis, engaging in regular network troubleshooting activities, and resolving network connectivity issues.
· Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection systems).
· Ensure data integrity and security at both the server and end-user levels.
· Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, access rights and passwords.
· Administer e-mail system (adding and removing users, assign to user group, resolve conflicts as they occur).
· Perform PC moves and installations as well as physical maintenance of PCs and printers.
· Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
· Train end-users to ensure optimal and efficient utilization of workplace IT tools/technology/applications.
· Prioritize and work with multiple assignments simultaneously.
· Ensure assigned IT projects are completed on time, within budget and meet agreed upon performance requirements.
· Interact effectively with all levels of management, customers, peers, and staff.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years of relevant, hands-on work experience
· Extensive knowledge of end-user information systems/applications, programming, and cyber security
· Deep understanding and practical experience in customer service support or Help Desk operations
· Proficient and extensive knowledge of MS Office Applications
· Strong analytical skills with high degree of attention to detail
· Possesses strong written & verbal communications with all levels of management, time management, and interpersonal skills
· Excellent problem-solving and project management skills with team-oriented, collaborative demeanor
· Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
· Strong desire to learn, develop, and expand professional skills for future leadership opportunities within IT function
· Ability to travel occasionally (<25%) to other U.S. domestic locations
