Job description

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer - Network who can support the development, enhancements, and maintenance to the KDP digital networks.

This position is a hybrid role based in Frisco, TX, with in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.

As the Principal Infrastructure Engineer - Network, you will…

  • Design and implement network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment. This involves analyzing network requirements, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring optimal network performance and security.
  • Identify and resolve network issues, troubleshoot connectivity problems.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
  • Execute on architectural standards and reference architecture.
  • Plan and optimize the network by collaborating with key stakeholders and ensure seamless integration and coordination of network services.

Who you are:

  • Deep knowledge of Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI model).
  • Expert knowledge of Internet Protocols (E.g., DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL).
  • Expert knowledge of various network types. E.g., LAN, WAN and WLAN.
  • Expert knowledge of defining and implementing integration of hardware in the network, including routers, switches, power systems, and cables.
  • Expert knowledge of network management including network testing, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Expert knowledge of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF and EIGRP.
  • Expert ability to design, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi, and network security infrastructure.
  • Expert ability to identify, prioritize, and solve complex network-related problems and recommend solutions for improving the overall network health.
  • Proven ability to recommend solutions for improving the overall network health by assessing overall effectiveness.
  • Expert to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of technical terminology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in related field
  • Native-level proficiency/fluent in English
  • Prior Visio experience
  • Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments (preferred)

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary Range: $86,000 - $150,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
