• Career growth and technical development opportunities, As the Network Support Specialist, you will provide technical support and infrastructure administration for approximately 150 employees located in Dallas and remote offices. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting end users, improving systems, and expanding their expertise across multiple areas of IT.Key

Responsibilities

End User Support

• Provide technical support for Windows 11 desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365 applications
• Support business applications including:
• Adobe Acrobat
• Microsoft 365
• 1Password
• Sophos
• Resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and printing issues
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding
• Maintain IT asset inventory and technology documentation

Network & Infrastructure Support

• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues
• Support wireless networking and VPN technologies
• Assist with configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure
• Monitor network performance, security, and availability
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades and technology refresh projects

Systems Administration

• Support Microsoft Windows Server environments
• Administer Active Directory and Group Policy
• Support VMware virtual infrastructure
• Assist with patch management, upgrades, and server maintenance
• Support SQL Server environments and related applications

Cybersecurity

• Support endpoint security initiatives
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and patch management
• Participate in security audits and compliance activities
• Support Zscaler cloud security solutions
• Assist with security monitoring and incident response

Communications & Collaboration Technologies

• Support Cisco phone systems
• Support Webex conferencing solutions
• Troubleshoot conference room technology
• Assist users with meeting room and collaboration technology setup

Security & Firewall Administration

• Assist with Palo Alto firewall administration
• Support VPN technologies and secure remote access
• Respond to network and security alerts as directed

Hardware & Vendor Management

• Support Dell desktop and server hardware
• Support Microsoft Surface devices
• Coordinate vendor repairs and warranty claims
• Assist with hardware deployment and lifecycle management

Required

• 2+ years of experience in:
• Desktop Support
• Network Support
• Systems Administration
• IT Infrastructure Support
• Experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
• Working knowledge of:
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• DHCP
• VLANs
• VPNs
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Preferred

Experience with any of the following:

A college degree is not required. Equivalent hands-on experience, technical skills, and demonstrated troubleshooting ability will be strongly considered., Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future., * Describe your hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, and Windows 11. What administrative and troubleshooting tasks do you regularly perform?

• Describe your experience troubleshooting network infrastructure, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, wireless networking, switches, firewalls, or internet connectivity.
• Describe your experience with virtualization, cybersecurity, and infrastructure technologies such as VMware, endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, firewall administration, MFA, security monitoring, or incident response.
• This position requires working onsite in Downtown Dallas four days per week, occasional travel to Houston, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Please confirm that you meet these requirements.
