Job description

We're looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of a business-critical enterprise infrastructure within a highly regulated financial services environment. This is a hands-on senior role where you'll manage core infrastructure, networking, cyber security, Microsoft 365 and virtualisation while acting as the technical lead for infrastructure operations and continual improvement. What you'll be doing

  • Managing Windows Server, Linux and VMware environments
  • Administering Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Maintaining enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam
  • Supporting Cisco networking and FortiGate Firewalls
  • Managing cyber security, vulnerability management and endpoint protection
  • Providing 3rd line infrastructure and end-user support
  • Supporting business-critical financial and enterprise applications
  • Driving infrastructure improvements, automation and documentation
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure highly available, secure and resilient IT services

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in enterprise infrastructure
  • Experience within financial services or another highly regulated environment
  • Proven experience supporting mission-critical systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
