Job description

Shape and enhance enterprise document management systems through SharePoint, driving compliance, governance, and operational efficiency., * Lead the development and governance of SharePoint-based document management solutions.

  • Ensure documentation is structured, secure, compliant, and easily accessible.
  • Support effective collaboration and information management across multiple stakeholders.
  • Promote best practice document control and records management processes.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain SharePoint document management architecture.
  • Develop document control standards, metadata structures, and governance frameworks.
  • Configure document libraries, workflows, permissions, and archiving processes.
  • Provide guidance and training on SharePoint and document management best practice.
  • Monitor compliance with document control and records management requirements.
  • Support audits through effective document retrieval, reporting, and record keeping.
  • Work with technical and business stakeholders to continuously improve processes and system performance.

Requirements

  • Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in Information Management, Records Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong SharePoint administration and document management experience.
  • Knowledge of metadata, taxonomy, version control, and document governance principles.
  • Experience with document management systems such as SharePoint, Aconex, Procore, or similar.
  • Understanding of compliance, audit, and records management requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications and SharePoint integrations.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting large, complex engineering, infrastructure, or technical environments is advantageous.
