In your new role:

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Windows Server, and Hyper-V environments
  • Manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, switching, and wireless services
  • Monitor system performance, backups, patching, security, and availability to ensure business continuity
  • Act as the technical lead for key business systems, overseeing upgrades, integrations, and ongoing support
  • Deliver ICT projects from planning and implementation through to testing and user adoption
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability management, access controls, and compliance activities
  • Work closely with third-party suppliers and managed service providers to resolve technical issues and deliver improvements
  • Develop technical documentation, system procedures, and user guidance materials
  • Deliver user training and promote the effective adoption of new digital technologies across the business

Requirements

  • Experience in an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Administrator, Technical Support Engineer, or similar ICT role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Hyper-V, and endpoint management
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments and cloud-based services
  • Experience supporting network infrastructure, VPNs, firewalls, and unified communications platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and information security principles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and engage with stakeholders at all levels

Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):

  • Experience driving the adoption of AI technologies within a business environment
  • Exposure to ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, or similar security frameworks
  • Experience with API integrations and data workflows
  • Familiarity with ITIL service management principles and ITSM platforms
