Job description
This position is responsible for:
- Build DevOps solutions across applications, network, deployment & scaling to meet complex project requirements.
- Advise on and implement best security practices to ensure the ongoing protection and integrity of Zeguro's AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Enhance and maintain the existing DevOps codebase, which is currently developed in node and utilizes Amazon ECS.
- Facilitate the implementation of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for software development which will include integrating automated testing into the build pipeline,
- Maintain and update AWS CI/CD Pipelines including enabling seamless deployment to all environments, setting up new environments and maintaining existing environments.
- Helping Dev and QA teams during non-prod and prod releases
- Setting up new Cloud Infrastructure while launching new LOB or new functionalities.
- Take charge of Cloudflare-related updates and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Database Management.
Requirements
- (Required) Experience with implementing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- (Required) Proficient in at least one scripting language (Java Script, Bash, Python, etc.).
- Experience supporting scalable and elastic applications on distributed architectures.
- (Required) Proficient with IAC using CloudFormation or Terraform.
- (Required) Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Data Security and a willingness to work in an environment where security is a requirement of every project.
- (Required) Strong ability and understanding of securing systems on the application, network, and infrastructure layers.
- Understanding interfacing with external APIs (REST, JSON, Auth Tokens).
- (Required) Understand the requirements and come up with end to end solution using AWS Services.
- (Required) Working experience on containerized applications and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon ECS.
- (Required) Good experience integrating Automated test suite within CodeBuild and CodePipelines.
- (Required) Experience with managing AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) instances, including secure configurations, monitoring, patching, backup strategies and compliance.
- (Required) Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD methodologies, Git
- (Required) Knowledge of Security frameworks and protocols such as HTTPS, TLS, PKI, OAuth
- Good knowledge of AWS Best Practices and implementations.
- Experience with Monitoring services like CloudWatch, X-Ray, Data Dog, Splunk.
- High level knowledge of GDPR and CCPA.
- Experience scaling different geographies.
High level of AI usage in Day-to-Day activity.
- (Good to have) Experience CloudFlare , Bitbucket.
- (Good to have) Experience with building and deploying node applications.
Expectations:
- Must Have] Should work in PST hours (9AM to 5PM PST) and sometime extended hours (During after business hours production releases).
- [Good to have] Since team works from office multiple times in a month, residing close to San Francisco/Bay Area is preferable.
