Job description

  • Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack, or Azure, ensuring scalability and security.
  • Develop and maintain containerization systems using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and other container orchestration tools to streamline deployment workflows.
  • Automate deployment processes with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and PowerShell to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Manage IT infrastructure components including Linux (CentOS, UNIX), Windows Server environments, Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, and Microsoft SQL Server to support enterprise applications.
  • Monitor system health using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and IT monitoring tools; analyze logs for troubleshooting performance issues or outages.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans and high availability architectures to ensure business continuity during incidents or failures.
  • Collaborate with development teams on requirements gathering for microservices architectures utilizing RESTful APIs, JavaScript frameworks, Ruby on Rails, C#,.NET, Go, Groovy, Perl, and other programming languages.
  • Enforce cloud security best practices including identity & access management (IAM), firewall configurations, DNS management, network administration (TCP/IP), and incident response procedures.
  • Lead efforts in system testing, release management, incident recovery, and continuous improvement of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes aligned with Agile methodologies like Scrum or TFS.

  • Extensive hands-on expertise with containerization systems such as Docker and Kubernetes; experience with virtualization technologies like VMware is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms including AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure or OpenStack; familiarity with cloud security practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Perl; experience with build automation tools like Maven or Gradle is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab; experience automating deployment processes across multiple environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise middleware including Weblogic and WebSphere; knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL or PL/SQL is required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues related to distributed systems-experience with log analysis tools like Splunk or Elasticsearch is advantageous.
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure management including network administration (LAN/WAN/TCP/IP), disaster recovery planning and incident response strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving; ability to work effectively within Agile teams focused on continuous improvement.
