Job description

Secure & Optimize Enterprise Networks - Design, deploy, and manage next-generation firewalls (NGFW), network security solutions, and infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. Lead Firewall Migrations & Implementations - Migrate from Cisco, Checkpoint, or Fortinet to Palo Alto or Cisco Firewalls. Manage Advanced Network Protocols - Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and SD-WAN. Provide Technical Leadership & Customer Engagement - Work directly with clients to assess needs, develop solutions, and ensure smooth implementations. Serve as a Senior-Level Escalation Point - Tackle complex network security challenges and mentor junior engineers. Ensure Compliance & Best Practices - Implement security standards such as SOX, SOC2, and PCI, ensuring networks meet regulatory requirements. Perform Network Assessments & Optimization - Provide recommendations to improve security, performance, and resilience.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in network and security engineering, with hands-on work in complex environments. Deep expertise in enterprise-grade firewalls - Strong knowledge of Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto NGFW, Cisco ISE, and cloud-based security. Strong understanding of network protocols - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SD-WAN, VLANs, and advanced routing. Certifications preferred - Cisco CCNP, CCDP, or Palo Alto PCNSA, PCNSE. Cloud networking experience - Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Proven ability to work independently and lead projects in a consultant or senior engineering role. Excellent communication skills - Comfortable working with clients, explaining technical solutions, and driving results. A proactive, problem-solving mindset - Ability to diagnose and resolve network security challenges efficiently.
