QA Automation Engineer (Cross-Border Payments

You'll own automated quality coverage for cross-border payment systems - building and maintaining test infrastructure that keeps critical financial workflows and integrations reliable at scale.

What you'll do

• Work on cross-border payment flows and API-driven services responsible for international money movement and transaction execution.
• Build automated coverage across backend systems, integrations, and end-to-end financial workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Developers and DevOps to improve testing tools, environments, and delivery quality.

What you'll own

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for critical cross-border payment scenarios.
• Validate APIs, backend services, and end-to-end transaction flows.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and investigate defects across payment services and integrations.
• Communicate findings clearly - defects, edge cases, and risks - to engineering and product teams.
• Contribute to test strategy and automation approaches as the payment platform scales.

• 3+ years in QA Automation or a similar role.
• Experience with API testing - manual and automated - using Java or Kotlin.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
• Experience testing applications at financial institutions: investment banks, brokers, exchanges, or similar platforms.
• Ability to describe complex defects and edge cases clearly and concisely.
