Job description

  • Perform hands-on FPGA design and development, covering the end-to-end lifecycle from design and implementation to testing.
  • Write custom Register Transfer Level (RTL) code.
  • Conduct simulation and verification using tools such as ModelSim or Questa.
  • Engage in broad-level debugging and system integration.
  • Work with RF hardware and interface FPGAs to RF systems.
  • Develop and implement software-defined radio (SDR) systems.
  • Familiarize with embedded systems and real-time processing.

Requirements

Clearance: candidates must be capable of acquiring/maintaining an active DOD Top Secret SCI

Education: A Bachelor's degree is required. An HS diploma or GED is the minimum educational requirement.

Experience: 7+ years of professional experience, including developing SDR solutions.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog.
  • Experience with FPGA toolchains, such as Xilinx (Vivado) or Intel/Altera.
  • Experience with C, C++, and MATLAB.
  • Experience with Git for version control.
  • Knowledge of Linux distributions, such as RedHat and Rocky Linux.
  • Experience with embedded hardware systems.
  • Hands-on experience with RF signal processing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DSP signal processing algorithms.
  • Experience developing integrated solutions leveraging both the embedded processor and FPGA fabric of Xilinx SoC and RFSoC devices.
  • Experience with digital RF sampling, modulations, error correction, or compression.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience with C5ISR, EW, SIGINT, or communication systems.
