Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer to provide coverage for a team member on maternity leave and help support a lean, highly collaborative web development team. This role is focused on maintaining and improving existing web properties rather than building new platforms from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient developer who can quickly contribute, manage priorities independently, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This position offers exceptional flexibility, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in the United States and complete hours on a schedule that works best for them, provided project deadlines and team communication expectations are met.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs and technical issues Perform ongoing website maintenance and enhancements Develop and update web components and features Support multiple international web properties, including: One B2B website One eCommerce website Respond to customer-facing issues and help maintain site performance during peak business periods Collaborate with the Senior Developer and Web Marketing team on project priorities Participate in daily standups and sprint planning activities Manage assigned tasks independently and provide regular status updates Proactively identify risks, blockers, and opportunities for improvement
Requirements
4+ years of professional web development experience Strong experience with: PHP JavaScript HTML React Tailwind CSS Git SOAP APIs Experience working with CMS platforms, preferably: CraftCMS CraftCommerce Or a comparable content management system Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Algolia Experience supporting eCommerce websites Experience working in Agile or sprint-based development environments
