Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Current Oracle Certified Professional certification.
  • Current Oracle Certified Master certification may be proposed in place of or in addition to OCP and will be viewed favorably.
  • Active Tier 4 High-Risk Public Trust clearance or documented eligibility to obtain it immediately.
  • Availability to work primarily onsite at ED OIG Headquarters in Washington, DC.
  • Expert-level experience administering Oracle Database, Grid Infrastructure, and RAC environments.
  • Experience administering Oracle Fusion Middleware products.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Experience migrating Oracle databases and applications from on-premises environments to OCI.
  • Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Experience with Oracle patching, silent upgrades, performance tuning, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience administering Oracle Linux and implementing CIS Benchmarks.
  • Experience with PIV, two-factor authentication, identity federation, Oracle Access Manager, and Oracle Internet Directory.
  • Experience developing automation scripts using SQL, WLST, Bash, Python, Perl, and PHP.
  • Experience with enterprise backup, recovery, disaster recovery, monitoring, and business continuity.
  • Ability to prepare detailed technical documentation and conduct formal knowledge-transfer sessions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Certified Master certification.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect certification.
  • Oracle Autonomous Database or Oracle Analytics Cloud certification.
  • Experience supporting Oracle environments for a U.S. federal agency.
  • Experience operating in a High-Risk Public Trust environment.
  • Experience supporting federal audit, investigation, analytics, or Inspector General organizations.
  • Experience with Oracle Database Appliance and Dell/EMC storage platforms.
  • Experience with Spotfire, Oracle BI Publisher, OBIEE, and OAC.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a hybrid Oracle environment.
  • Experience conducting large-scale hardware refreshes and cloud migrations within the last three years.
  • Experience with Section 508, CUI, FISMA, NIST, HSPD-12, ICAM, and federal records-management requirements.
