Job description
We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Engineer to join our Information Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the organization's data and analytics infrastructure, ensuring data is accurately ingested, transformed, and made available for reporting and business intelligence.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data engineering, ETL development, SQL, and modern analytics platforms. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to develop scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that drive informed business decisions across the organization., * Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to support efficient and reliable ETL processes.
- Build, test, document, and maintain clean, reusable datasets for enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Develop data aggregation and transformation solutions using SQL, .NET, Targit, and Power BI.
- Design and maintain scalable data models, data warehouses, and analytics architectures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and deliver meaningful dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Targit to support data-driven decision-making.
- Optimize SQL queries, ETL processes, and reporting performance to improve efficiency and reduce processing time.
- Implement and maintain data validation, monitoring, and error-handling processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Support cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Work with the Data Analytics Manager to expand Power BI adoption and promote enterprise-wide data governance best practices.
- Assist with upgrades and ongoing maintenance of analytics platforms, including Targit.
- Maintain technical documentation for data models, ETL processes, reporting solutions, and system architecture.
- Follow data governance, security, and development best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience developing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL processes and enterprise data pipelines.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and analytics platforms.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and Targit.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies for data storage and processing.
- Programming experience with .NET and C++ or similar object-oriented programming languages.

- Knowledge of modern cloud-based analytics architectures.
- Manufacturing or industrial industry experience is a plus.
