Job description
In this role you will be working in a high-performance IT engineering team building and sustaining the software and manufacturing systems that keep our fabs running. In this role, you'll directly support Qorvo R&D and manufacturing teams. You'll own end-to-end solutions (design, develop, deploy, and troubleshoot), partner closely with manufacturing and engineering stakeholders, and help shape system architecture as we modernize and scale., * Support existing Manufacturing Systems and Applications.
- Software development, deployment, and troubleshooting of customer-centric services and applications for manufacturing automation.
- Adheres to coding standards, pattern-based development principles and participates in coding review to help maintain and preserve established, best practices coding outcomes.
- Maintains awareness of technology trends and identifies opportunities for potential assimilation into existing systems while prioritizing stability and consistency.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

8+ years of experience in software development

Hands-on experience in software development using object-oriented language that follows complete development life cycle for Windows/Linux

Familiarity with web and front-end frameworks (.NET, Django, React, Knockout JS)

Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle, MSSQL), * Direct experience with manufacturing systems within the semiconductor manufacturing industry

Experience with development and support of manufacturing systems, and Manufacturing Execution Systems in particular strongly preferred.

Experience with Siemens OpCenter Manufacturing Execution System

Familiarity with Windows Services

Familiarity with test-driven development methodologies, structured refactoring methodologies, design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM).

Exposure to containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Work Environment:
- This is an onsite position, where the expectation is for this person to be onsite five days a week in our Richardson, TX office.
