Job description

Join our clients Chief Data Office as a DevOps Engineer on the Quant Analytics Platforms team - a high-impact, greenfield opportunity to build and scale the cloud infrastructure powering quant analytics across our clients global Equities, Fixed-Income, and Multi-Asset desks. Your work will directly support the platforms Research, Investments, and Trading teams rely on to make decisions and execute in the market.

What You'll Do

  • Automate infrastructure operations using IaC tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm for Kubernetes deployments
  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
  • Drive platform high availability and reliability at scale
  • Build robust observability and alerting across the stack
  • Implement security best practices aligned to regulatory and enterprise standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across test and production environments
  • Stay ahead of emerging tools and practices to continuously modernize the platform

Requirements

What You Bring - 5+ years of hands-on experience with: AWS (IAM, EC2, EBS, EFS) | VPC Networking | Route53 | EKS | CloudWatch & CloudWatch Alerts | Docker | Kubernetes | Terraform | Terragrunt | Helm | Git / GitHub / GitLab | Splunk | OTel | Prometheus | Grafana | AlertManager | Python | Shell Scripting

Plus: strong problem-solving skills, Agile experience, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Bonus: experience with distributed file storage technologies (NFS, FSx for OpenZFS, etc.)

Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of financial markets and instruments
  • Front Office engineering experience at an Asset Manager, Hedge Fund, or Investment Bank
  • R / RStudio experience
  • Go experience
