Job description

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines teams rely on
  • Automate infrastructure so environments are predictable and supportable
  • Support containerized platforms in secure, regulated environments
  • Work directly with software and cyber engineers to solve delivery problems
  • Adjust to different program needs, priorities, and technical stacks

Requirements

  • Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one. To learn more about the security clearance process please access this link.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience with:
  • Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah)
  • Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm)
  • CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
  • Linux systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience with
  • Cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)

This role is for folks who like being close to the work-building pipelines, automating infrastructure, fixing what slows teams down, and adapting when a program needs something different. Candidates must have strong experience in Kubernetes. We work in small-to-mid size, diverse teams with clear ownership of tasking. Engineers are trusted in solving problems and aren't waiting for permission to execute. U.S. Navy warfighters need your help to rapidly deliver cutting edge software solutions to the fleet for planning and executing missions for carrier strike groups conducting operations around the world. Mission planners need to collaborate in order plan for anti-surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, ballistic missile defense, autonomous drone swarm information gain, and a wide range of other mission areas.
