Job description

job summary: We are seeking a Network Support Analyst for an opportunity in Wichita, KS. This front-line role will act as the primary contact for network, hardware, and user support issues across the facility and active production floor.

responsibilities: On-Site & Technical Support: Troubleshoot PCs, printers, peripherals, telecommunication devices (VoIP, mobile), and general IT equipment. Provide front-line end-user support via tickets, walk-ups, and daily requests.

Network & Systems Triage: Perform daily network monitoring, backup checks, and alert triage. Escalate complex infrastructure issues to management.

User Administration: Manage Active Directory and M365 account provisioning, user permissions, and password resets.

Production Floor IT Support: Maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity for production floor equipment and PLC-connected systems.

Software & Security Maintenance: Assist with software updates, patch deployment, and uphold company security standards.

Basic Cloud & Database Escalation: Perform basic support and escalation for AWS-hosted infrastructure and database platforms (MySQL, MS SQL, AWS Aurora/RDS).

Travel & Projects: Assist with IT projects at other company facility locations as needed (occasional travel).

qualifications: Required Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).

Experience: 0-5 years in network, hardware, or IT support (willing to train candidates with strong fundamentals).

Networking Knowledge: Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, LDAP, and familiarity with VPNs, Meraki firewalls, or comparable hardware.

Systems Administration: Experience with user-level Active Directory and Microsoft 365 management.

Environment: Comfort working on and around an active production/manufacturing floor (PPE required).

Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.

Flexibility: Ability to multitask, prioritize support requests, and travel occasionally to secondary site locations.

Desired Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Certifications: CompTIA A+/Network+, Cisco CCNA, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (hands-on skills are prioritized over certs).

Cloud & Database: Basic exposure to AWS infrastructure and relational databases (MySQL/MS SQL).

Operating Systems & Scripting: Linux fundamentals (Debian/Ubuntu/RedHat) and basic scripting exposure (Bash or Python).

Industry Experience: Prior experience supporting IT operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
