Job description

  • Develop Windows desktop applications using C#, WPF, and XAML
  • Design modern graphical user interfaces for medical device systems
  • Create software modules for hardware communication, data storage/retrieval, and processing algorithms
  • Support software verification, validation, and documentation efforts
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and systems engineering teams

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 6-8+ years of software development experience in the medical device industry
  • 5+ years of hands-on WPF development experience
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, XAML, Visual Studio, and object-oriented programming
  • Experience with GUI development, multithreading, and SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Medical device software development experience
  • 3D visualization/GUI design experience
  • Azure or AWS experience
  • Knowledge of Python or JavaScript

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
