Job description

Senior Mulesoft Developer

  • Interacts with architects to define system requirements and translate requirements into technical specifications
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and reusable integration solutions using MuleSoft and related technologies
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of APIs and integration flows, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business requirements
  • Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and security compliance across all integration components
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft-based integration projects
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing APIs, microservices, and system integrations in enterprise environments
  • Exposure to agile delivery models and working in cross-functional, distributed teams
  • Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Designer, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange
  • Proficiency in Mule 4, DataWeave, RAML, and building RESTful APIs
  • Experience in API-led connectivity, reusable asset development, and CI/CD integration
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and deploying MuleSoft applications in hybrid/cloud environments
  • Experience with version control (Git) and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Maven, or Azure DevOps

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience with MuleSoft Runtime Fabric, Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and application development using Spring Boot and Java.
  • Experience implementing integration solutions using frameworks such as Apache Camel.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and platforms such as IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Google Pub/Sub.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and integration strategies across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience establishing enterprise API governance, developer portals, API product management, and reusable integration assets.
  • Exposure to leveraging AIOps capabilities for proactive monitoring, predictive analytics, and operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of AI and ML integration capabilities and deployment patterns within enterprise ecosystems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership capabilities.

Benefits & conditions

Pay Rate: Up to $12.00 an hour depending on skills and experience, Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
