Citymesh is looking for a Applications & Devices Engineer within our operations team. As an Applications & Devices Engineer, you will contribute to projects centered around communication solutions, end-user devices, and mobile applications. Your Job In a Nutshell Project Follow-up: Together with the project manager and a team of field telecom engineers, you are responsible for planning, preparing, testing, installing, and delivering projects related to end-user applications, with a focus on (cloud) hosted telephony and unified communications. Customer Guidance: Guiding, informing and training customers during the implementation and adoption of new hardware and applications. Support: You support the helpdesk with incidents, technical questions and customer change requests. You provide remote and if necessary, on-site assistance to ensure all systems continue to run smoothly. Documentation: You ensure meticulous documentation of completed projects and provide the necessary input for correct administrative follow-up. R&D Support: Providing hands-on support to internal departments in designing, testing, demonstrating and evaluating applications, devices, connectivity, and integrations. Process Optimization: Together with the team, you ensure the optimization of processes for asset management, staging/delivery, and support. These Are Your Talents
Requirements
You hold a bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Electronics-ICT or similar. You feel at home in the world of SIP, VoIP, PBX, IVR, and cloud telephony. You have a solid knowledge of IP networking (routers, switches, APs, and firewalls). You have 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience as a telecom engineer, network administrator or system administrator. Experience with MDM platforms and the configuration of wireless devices in a professional, B2B-oriented environment is a plus. You can work independently, plan efficiently and enjoy working in direct contact with end customers. You are comfortable introducing and demonstrating solutions on-site. You are communicative, solution-oriented and you easily translate customer needs into a technical configuration. You are a strong communicator in English and Dutch, French is an asset.
