  • Security & Compliance Execution: Implement controls under guidance of the ISSO/ISSM; prepare evidence for assessments and audits; maintain continuous monitoring.
  • Cross-Environment Operations: Operate across the corporate network and multiple enclaves, including isolated/standalone AD environments, adhering to enclave-specific procedures and maintenance windows.
  • Automation (Nice to Have): Use PowerShell to automate workflows (patching, compliance checks, user provisioning/access, reporting).
  • Linux Server & Applications (Nice to Have): Administer RHEL/Rocky/Ubuntu servers and common services (NGINX/Apache, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Samba/NFS); enforce SELinux/AppArmor; integrate with AD via SSSD; support container hosts (Docker/Podman).
  • DevSecOps Support (Nice to Have): Partner with engineering to embed security in CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitLab/Jenkins), integrate ACAS/Nessus, SAST/DAST, SBOM/dependency and IaC scans; automate environment provisioning and secrets management (Vault/KMS).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Exposure to NIST SP 800-53 control implementation and continuous monitoring.
  • Experience in regulated or classified environments and collaboration with ISSO/ISSM roles.
  • Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and endpoint security/EDR tools.

Requirements:

  • ACTIVE Top Secret (TS) security clearance at time of hire.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on Windows systems administration experience supporting endpoints and servers in AD environments.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and troubleshooting GPOs and managing AD objects.
  • Direct experience applying STIG/SCAP scans and deploying Windows security patches (KBs).
  • Hands-on experience administering ACAS/Nessus vulnerability scanning, interpreting findings, and driving remediation.
  • Strong understanding of core services: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
