Job description

Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation, U.S.A. (YMFC-US) has an excellent opportunity for a Technical Product Support Analyst I to join our Technology team in Kennesaw, GA. This role serves as the first point of contact for technical support across YMFC-US financial technology platforms, providing front-line application support for internal business users and external clients.

The Technical Product Support Analyst I is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, administering user access and system configurations, supporting application releases, and partnering with technical and business teams to ensure platform stability, operational efficiency, and an exceptional user experience.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues raised by internal users and external clients.
  • Monitor, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to financial technology platforms, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Administer enterprise applications by creating, modifying, and removing user accounts, permissions, and system configurations.
  • Partner with Technology, Operations, Servicing, Underwriting, and other business teams to investigate issues, coordinate escalations, and validate solutions.
  • Document troubleshooting activities, root cause analyses, and resolutions within ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.
  • Maintain and update system configurations, knowledge base articles, operational documentation, and support procedures.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), production deployments, release rollouts, and post-implementation validation activities.
  • Monitor application performance and identify opportunities to automate recurring support tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports on support metrics, incident trends, system performance, and user satisfaction.
  • Participate in data governance initiatives while supporting data quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, cloud platforms, application support best practices, and industry trends.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in application support, production support, technical support, or a similar technology role.
  • Experience supporting financial services, lending, fintech, or loan servicing applications is preferred.
  • Experience administering enterprise applications, including user provisioning and system configuration.
  • Familiar with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
  • Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated initiative, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a customer-focused approach to supporting business partners and end users.
