Job description
- Using hands-on expertise with Informatica or other Product 360 (PIM/MDM) to deliver compelling, story-driven demos tailored to customer use cases (e-commerce, digital asset management, product data governance, etc.)
- Working with complex data architectures - ERP integrations, digital asset management, multilingual/localization workflows, and product hierarchy management
- Articulating Informatica's value and differentiation using competitive knowledge of the PIM landscape (e.g., Akeneo, Salsify, Stibo, Riversand, Syndigo)
- Presenting and engaging both business and technical level stakeholders
- Acting as a trusted advisor for account teams, supporting RFPs, POCs, and onsite engagements
- Collaborating as a team player with a community-building mindset - sharing knowledge, building enablement assets, and contributing to the broader SE community
Requirements
You possess a degree in Computer Science (B.S., Master's, or Ph.D.) with minimum of 8-10 years demonstrated experience in the following areas:
Product & Data Modeling
- Hands-on expertise with Informatica Product 360, MDM, or equivalent PIM platforms (e.g., Akeneo, Salsify, Stibo, Riversand, Syndigo)
- Strong understanding of product data modeling - attribute management, classification hierarchies, product families, variants, BOM, and bundles
- Data governance frameworks - data quality rules, stewardship workflows, approval processes, and completeness scoring
Integrations & Architecture
- Digital Commerce - product content syndication to PIM-connected storefronts (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce, Magento), PDP enrichment, and SEO-ready content workflows
- ERP - SAP (S/4HANA, ECC), Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; understanding of item master management and data flows between ERP and PIM
- DAM - linking rich media (images, videos, documents) to product records; familiarity with platforms a plus (e.g., Bynder, Canto, Cloudinary)
- API & Integration Patterns - REST/SOAP APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and middleware (MuleSoft, Informatica IDMC, Boomi) for product data ingestion and syndication
Emerging Capabilities
- Data Enrichment & AI - AI-assisted attribute tagging, auto-classification, and generative content capabilities within modern PIM platforms
- Multilingual/Localization - managing regional product data variants, translation workflows, and country-specific compliance attributes
Industry Experience Preferred
- Retail - planogram data, omnichannel product syndication, GS1/GTIN standards, retail trading partner onboarding (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.), and digital shelf readiness
- Manufacturing - BOM management, technical specifications, regulatory/compliance data (REACH, RoHS, SDS), spare parts catalogs, and supplier-facing data enrichment
