Systems Engineer

• Building proficiency with company systems, tools, and client environments
• Designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced IT infrastructures for optimal performance and security
• Acting as an escalation point for other Tier 1/2 engineers and help desk
• Responding to client support requests across diverse infrastructure complexities
• Troubleshooting network and server issues with a proactive approach
• Monitoring system health and applying preventative maintenance
• Escalating complex problems swiftly to minimize business impact
• Participating in on-call rotations
• Documenting all support activities accurately within ticketing systems

• Has at least 7 years of external client-facing network consulting experience, or complex multi-site in-house experience, or as a one person shop managing everything.
• Possesses broad expertise in routing, switching, firewall, and cloud technologies
• Is capable of managing complex projects involving M&A, multi-site setups, network expansions or separations
• Has hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, VMware, Microsoft 365, Azure, Dell, and HPE solutions
• Can troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, Active Directory, and cloud integrations effortlessly
• Is comfortable working independently and collaborating within a team
• Holds or is willing to pursue certifications like CCNA, CCNP, Virtualization or cloud certifications
