Job description
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements from U.S.-based stakeholders, ensuring alignment with technical and business goals.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core, C#, React, and Angular.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performing RESTful APIs.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, indexes, and queries.
- Create responsive and modern user interfaces using React and Angular.
- Utilize Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
- Develop cloud-native services adhering to 12-Factor App principles.
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using JSON over HTTPS for high-volume transactional systems.
- Optimize and tune database performance across relational (e.g., SQL Server) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) platforms.
- Perform unit testing, cross-testing, and debugging to deliver high-quality, production-ready code.
- Employ advanced CI/CD and DevSecOps practices, ensuring efficient and secure software delivery pipelines.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a high-pressure environment.
- Mentor junior developers and support team members in task completion and technical problem-solving.
- Conduct research and share knowledge on emerging technologies and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a strong software engineering background, is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code, and has experience integrating security into the software development lifecycle using tools such as Fortify and Harness., * 4-6+ years of professional software development experience using C#/.NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
- Strong proficiency using Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio for application development.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and enterprise web applications.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, including:
- Database design
- Stored procedures
- Query optimization
- Performance tuning
- Experience developing modern web applications using:
- React
- Angular
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub Actions
- Jenkins
- Harness
- Proficient in GitHub Copilot AI and other AI tools
- Experience using Fortify or similar Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and modern source control workflows.
- Understanding of secure software development practices (DevSecOps).
- Experience developing cloud-native applications following 12-Factor App principles.
- Solid knowledge of:
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Design Patterns
- SOLID Principles
- Algorithms and data structures
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Familiarity with financial or banking systems.
- Experience with cloud migration and tools such as Azure or APIGEE.
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools, such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)., * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field., * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process.
